Stretched glass (Restover, Goeth)

Transparency, color, vibration and technical performance: offering you tailor-made solutions to enhance your heritage.

MEET ALL TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

Born in the early 20th century with the industrial revolution, drawn glass is obtained by stretching a flat sheet of glass in a furnace, then cutting it during the cooling process. Drawn glass has very few, if any, bubbles in the material. Its variable thickness creates slight vibrations, giving the facade an antique character.

Stretched glass is available in several versions:

  • The Restover (3 mm thick) is available with 3 levels of deformation, more or less marked: Restover Light (light deformation), Restover (medium deformation), Restover Plus (significant deformation).

  • The Goeth (4.5 mm thick) has a very marked vibration and allows larger formats to be obtained.

Assembled in double glazing or laminated in our workshop, all our glasses can be treated to meet the requirements of modern glazing in terms of technical performance (anti-burglary protection, anti-UV, thermal and acoustic insulation)
