Other Solutions

Curved glass, laminated glass, printed glass

MEET ALL TECHNICAL PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
CURVED GLASS

Developed in the mid-19th century in England, curved glass is obtained by applying flat glass to a curved mold, heating it, and then softening it. Thanks to its characteristic curved appearance, curved glass is not only suitable for projects to embellish old facades, but also for the creation of decorative works (awnings, for example). Manufactured in our workshop, curved glass is created to your measurements and with the desired curvature, whatever the project. Many assemblies and treatments are possible:

  • laminated, assembled using resin,

  • security (burglar-proof and bulletproof),

  • double glazing, for better insulation,

  • printed or tinted, for decorative use.

LAMINATED GLASS

Discovered by chance by a chemist in 1903, laminated glass – formerly called Triplex – consists of at least two sheets of identical or varying thicknesses, assembled using a film or resin. Particularly difficult to break, this multi-layer glazing is a solution for projects requiring a high level of security (multi-laminated glass). Laminated glass also optimizes acoustic and thermal performance, as well as UV protection. Any type of glass can be transformed into laminated or multi-laminated, using a technique that depends on the material used and its application:

  • laminated old glass,

  • floor tiles,

  • bulletproof glass,

  • partitions, guardrails, etc.

PRINTED GLASS

Recognizable by its unique texture and relief, printed glass is manufactured using a roller that leaves an imprint on the surface of the glass. Depending on the texture, it can, if necessary, be tinted throughout and is available in numerous reliefs and assemblies (double-glazed, laminated, curved, etc.). The multiple combinations of colors, textures, and assemblies make printed glass the ideal solution for any decoration project: it brings your interior to life while adding a unique signature to your exteriors.

Assembled in double glazing or laminated in our workshop, all our glasses can be treated to meet the requirements of modern glazing in terms of technical performance (anti-burglary protection, anti-UV, thermal and acoustic insulation).
